Rocky Woods Camp, Medfield

Discover adventure in the woods, by the ponds, and on the trails.

2026 Rocky Woods Camp, Medfield

WHAT: We are excited to partner again this year with the YMCA of Greater Boston to run a 10-week camp at Rocky Woods from June 22–August 28, 2026 featuring Trustees-led nature activities and YMCA-led recreational activities.

WHO: The YMCA’s Rocky Woods Camp is for campers ages 5–13 who are excited to be in nature all day, learning about the plants and animals, hiking, playing games, making arts and crafts, and having fun with new friends.

WHERE: Rocky Woods is a historic 491-acre reservation in Medfield, full of outdoor adventures. A prized habitat for songbirds, bullfrogs, beavers, and painted turtles, Rocky Woods is also a great place for campers to spread their wings and explore. This enchanting landscape hosts miles of scenic trails, ponds full of aquatic life, dramatic geological formations, and panoramic views.

HOW: Registration and additional information are available through the YMCA of Greater Boston. Trustees Family Members receive the YMCA’s member discount and are invited to register during the YMCA’s early bird registration period beginning Monday, January 5. Public registration opens on Saturday, January 24, when there is also an Open House from 10AM–12PM to learn more.

Parent Testimonials

Two of my boys went and it was the first camp experience for my youngest. He was really nervous the first day, but by Wednesday he told me he wanted to go again and this time could do it without his big brother!
