Enjoy a live drumming performance, free food, and tastes from the garden harvest. Learn more about The Black Panther Gate, a unique art installation in the garden that honors the legacy of the Black Panther Party in Boston. The project features a striking weathering steel gateway, showcasing the Black Panthers’ logo and pillars displaying their 10-Point Platform and Program. It serves as a visual reminder of the organization’s revolutionary spirit and commitment to social change.

This is a family friendly event, free and open to all.

The Winthrop garden is located at 25 Winthrop Street in Roxbury, a short walk from the Nubian Square bus station.
