About Barnyard Buddies at Powisset Farm

Morning has arrived at Powisset Farm, and our barnyard buddies are ready to welcome you!

Join our livestock staff each Saturday morning in the barnyard for a fun, interactive barnyard experience. Roll up your sleeves and meet the animals who call Powisset Farm home. Along the way, you’ll learn how the animals are cared for each day, hear fascinating stories about the farm’s storied past spanning more than 350 years, and discover what makes life in the barnyard so special.

Please wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes. This program is best suited for children ages 3 and older and the adults accompanying them. We look forward to seeing you in the barnyard!

Pre-registration is required for this program, as space is limited. Children under 3 are free and do not need a ticket.

Please note: While we love our four-legged friends, dogs are not permitted at Powisset Farm.

Cancellation Policy: If The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will be notified by email and will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made at least seven days before the program date by contacting Powisset Farm. Refunds and transfers cannot be issued for cancellations made fewer than seven days before the program.
