Explore historic spaces, artifacts, and stories drawn from the site’s rich history, and discover how global events reverberated through this Berkshire community. Learn about Dr. Erastus Sergeant, a captain in the Burgoyne Campaign and surgeon at Fort Ticonderoga; his wife Elizabeth Partridge Sergeant, left to manage The Mission House and six young children amidst the war; Wappinger Sachem Daniel Ninham, who led a company of Native American soldiers in Washington’s Army; Agrippa Hull, a free Black man who served as trusted orderly to Tadeusz Kościuszko for five years; and other local residents whose lives were forever changed by the conflict.
Space is limited and preregistration is required. This tour requires walking and standing for one hour.
