About Fiddleheads: Preschool Drop-Off Series at Appleton Farms – FALL SESSION 26/27
Fiddleheads Fall Semester 2026
Fall is here and harvest is in full swing. It’s a great time for your preschooler to learn what our fields, barnyard, and forest have to offer. Join us on Wednesday mornings from 9:30AM to 12:30PM for a preschool drop-off series focused on farm animals, life cycles, plant parts, and seasonal farm experiences.
Each day begins with an opening circle, songs, and morning observations. We then spend the morning learning about the plants and animals that call the farm home. Children participate in daily barn and garden chores and explore the woods while learning how to treat nature with care.
We pause for lunch at 11:30AM and finish the day with farm-based crafts, games, songs, and stories before saying goodbye until the following week.
This is a 14-week semester.
Session dates: September 9, September 16, September 23, September 30, October 7, October 14, October 21, October 28, November 4, November 18, November 25, December 2, December 9, December 16.
No class on November 11.
Tuition for the full semester is $950 for Members and $1,025 for nonmembers. Registration covers all listed session dates.
The class takes place rain or shine, with as much time spent outdoors as possible. Students should arrive dressed for the weather and bring a lunch and water bottle.
Fiddleheads Preschool Drop-Off Series is designed for children ages 2 years 9 months to 5 years who are able to separate comfortably from caregivers and are fully toilet trained.
