Discover something new with your visit through our free pop-up Spotlight Talk Series at Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens. These 15 minute engaging talks explore rotating themes to highlight the rich history and collections found at the property.
Led by knowledgeable staff, these pop-up talks highlight a concentrated historic component of either the house or gardens, giving visitors a fresh perspective every time they attend. Drop in, listen, and explore—no registration required. Visitors should check in at the Garden Gateway for pop-up location.
Visitors will learn about John’s diplomatic postings in Asia and South America, Paris during WWI, and his and Helen’s pleasure journeys around the world. This mini-tour will wind it’s way through the house, highlighting objects such as the samurai sword, opium pipe, French watercolors, blue and white porcelain, Chinese garden stools, and the hanging lantern. It will touch on Helen’s love of France, the place she and John met.
