Join the Greater Boston Resiliency Initiative and Tree Eastie for the first day of the City Nature Challenge with a morning at Rockie’s Urban Wild.
We’ll begin by spending time caring for trees and learning about the role they play in supporting urban ecosystems. Then, we’ll shift into observation—exploring Rockie’s Urban Wild and nearby Piers Park to notice plants, wildlife, and seasonal changes.
Participants will spend time observing in each location before coming back together to share what we noticed and reflect as a group.
Whether you’re new to nature observation or already enjoy spending time outdoors, this program is designed to be welcoming and easy to join—no prior experience needed.
