About Growing Together: Dahlia Growing Workshop

Unlock the secrets to stunning blooms in this dahlia growing workshop. Participants will dig into essential planting and care techniques to ensure a prolific season as we cover tuber basics and division. Participants will learn to navigate pest and disease management with ease, along with pro tips for harvesting long-lasting blooms and safely storing tubers over winter.

Growing Together is a new hands-on gardening series at Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens, created in collaboration with Arianna Iappini of Birch Arbor Gardens. Designed for gardeners of all experience levels, this series invites participants to learn, connect, and cultivate alongside one another through the seasons. Each session blends practical instruction with thoughtful conversation, exploring sustainable gardening practices, seasonal rhythms, and the deeper relationships between plants, place, and people. Rooted in community and shared knowledge, Growing Together offers a welcoming space to grow skills, confidence, and connection in the historic gardens.
