About Pollinator Pals

One of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on them – our flying friends, the pollinators!

We’ll meet in our southern pasture where we’ll gather to read a short story introducing pollinators we might find here at the farm! Then we’ll get out our nets, magnifying glasses, and field guides as we search for pollinators. We’ll end our time together with a fun pollinator craft and each pair will also get the chance to clip six sunflowers to take home with them as well.

Pre-registration required. Best suited for ages 3-6. Parents or caregivers with an additional child who is 1 or under and who can be placed in a carrier are welcome to bring their second child without an additional registration. This is a weather dependent program and will not run in inclement weather. You will be notified by 8am day of by e-mail if this program will not run.

Program Refunds/Cancellations: In the event that a program is cancelled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact lbrown@thetrustees.org at least 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund or transfer to another date/class. Refunds and/or class transfers will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. There are no refunds for missed classes.
