About Fall into Squash! Adult Cooking Class

Join us in the Powisset Kitchen and fall in love with fall squash!

A sure sign of autumn is the sight of fall squash growing at farms and in home gardens. With so many shapes, sizes, and varieties, it’s no wonder squash is a fall favorite. In this hands-on class with Chef Thi, you’ll make a variety of squash-forward dishes with varieties harvested from the farm. On the menu: Creamy Squash Gratin with Fresh Sage, Squash Risotto with Farm Herbs, and Maple Chili Glazed Roasted Squash Salad. You’ll leave with a new appreciation for fall’s favorite vegetable and the inspiration to incorporate squash into your seasonal menus.

Included in this class:

  • Cooking demonstration and hands-on learning experience.
  • Instruction from an experienced, top-notch instructor.
  • Recipes to take home.
  • At the end of each class, the opportunity to enjoy the food you created.

If you would like to bring an adult beverage to class, please feel free.

Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. Minimum of 6 people required for class to take place. Please Note: Powisset is NOT a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen.
