Robert Killam, Land Stewardship Coordinator
Robert Killam is serving as the Land Stewardship Coordinator for The Trustees’ South Shore region. Now in his second TerraCorps term, previously serving with Mass Audubon, Robert focuses on building practical systems that strengthen land care and volunteer engagement across the region. He is developing a region-wide trail monitoring system that makes it easier for volunteers and the public to report trail issues such as erosion, flooding, fallen trees, and infrastructure needs, improving staff response and efficiency. Robert is also creating a centralized volunteer task bank to help staff plan and coordinate stewardship projects more efficiently across the region, supporting more consistent stewardship work and long-term site management. Outside of TerraCorps, Robert enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring nature, birding, biking, and playing pickleball.
