Witness a Revolution!
Stop by the Old Manse on Monday, April 20, as Concord celebrates Patriots’ Day and the start of the Revolutionary War. On the morning of April 19th, 1775, Phebe Bliss Emerson looked out the windows of her home and witnessed the battle of Concord unfold only a few hundred yards away.
Experience the view that Phebe would have seen on this special, self-guided experience of the Emerson family home.
Tickets for this program are only available at the door. The historic home as a limited capacity, and we while we will try to move people through as quickly as possible, there may be wait times to enter.

The historic house has several flights of steep stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. Please note, there is no public restroom on site at the Old Manse. Public restrooms are located nearby at the National Park and at the Concord Visitor’s Center (subject to seasonal availability). Please plan accordingly.
Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact the Old Manse 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds and transfers will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
