About Sweet Potato Slips (Winter Workshop Series)

This annual event is back as a part of our winter workshop series at the Dudley Greenhouse

Interested in starting to grow your own root vegetables?

Dudley Greenhouse Grower Vernell Jordan and Nightingale Garden Coordinator Elnora Thompson invite you to join us for their annual demonstration on how to start your own sweet potato starts (“slips”) using potatoes from the grocery store and other found materials.

Following the demonstration, we will gather together for a potluck community meal. All participants are invited to bring a sweet potato themed dish for the potluck!

Dudley Green House is on the Commuter Rail a short walk from Uphams Corner

There is bus access from Dudley Street and street parking in the surrounding area

This workshop is a part of a 4 part series, every Thursday at 5:30 at the Dudley Greenhouse. All sessions are free to attend, with no registration necessary.
