Join us to kick off the month of May in the Powisset Kitchen, where we’ll Plant-it-Forward all month long, with recipes that put what’s growing seasonally and here at the farm front and center!
Cinco de Mayo is an annual celebration to commemorate the anniversary of Mexico’s 1862 victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla. In the U.S., the day is celebrated with a feast of Mexican cuisine, shared with family and friends. In this hands-on class, Chef Thi will teach you to craft Charred Seasonal Vegetables and Bean Toastada with Rojo Sauce and Lime Crema, Mexican Spiced Rice with Farm Greens, and Roasted Butter Radishes with Cilantro and Salsa Macha.

If you would like to bring an adult beverage to class, please feel free.
Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. Minimum of 6 people required for class to take place. Please Note: Powisset is NOT a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen.
