About Family Farm Chores at Weir River Farm
It’s morning at Weir River Farm, and we have work to do!
Join us for our unique Family Farm Chores program held on Saturdays. Get on your muck boots: your whole family will get to be farmers together! Help feed, groom, and care for our friendly sheep, goats, pigs, and rabbit. Assist with morning chores like filling hay racks, refreshing water troughs, and tidying up animal enclosures while learning fun facts about each species and their role on the farm. Perfect for families looking for an interactive and educational outdoor adventure, this program offers a unique opportunity to connect with our animals, get a little messy, and experience the rewarding work of farm life.
This is a immersive, hands-on experience best suited for families—adults and children alike will get to try their hand at a variety of tasks. Be sure to wear sneakers or other closed-toe shoes when you join us in the barnyard.
Pre-registration is required for this event. Pease be prompt as our animals are hungry! This program will begin right at 9AM.
This program is rain or shine! In the event of cancellation due to severe weather, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
We love our furry friends, however, as this is a working farm with live animals, dogs are not permitted on the property.
