About Language of the Stockbridge-Munsee Community

Join Jeremy Mohawk, Language Teacher for the Stockbridge-Munsee Community for an engaging exploration of the Mohican and Munsee languages and the worldviews they carry.

This interactive session invites participants to experience the language through their senses and connect deeply with the cultural knowledge and values embedded in each word. Learn how language revitalization efforts are not only preserving words but also reconnecting the community to the natural world and Indigenous identity.

This workshop will be held indoors at the Mission House, 39 Main Street, Stockbridge.

Seating will be provided.
