Signs of Spring Bioblitz at Belle Isle Marsh
Belle Isle Marsh
East Boston
Saturday, April 18, 2026
Join us at Belle Isle Marsh for a Signs of Spring Bioblitz and help document the changing season.
Together, we’ll explore the marsh and look for signs of spring—new plant growth, returning birds, insects, and other wildlife. By observing and recording what we see, participants will contribute to a broader effort to document biodiversity and seasonal change.
The program will begin with a children-focused hour, with activities designed to support younger participants in exploring and observing the marsh. The second portion of the program will be open to all ages, with time for a guided walk, independent observation, and group reflection.
Whether you’re new to nature observation or already enjoy spending time outdoors, this program is designed to be welcoming and easy to join—no prior experience needed.
