Public Cooking Classes & WorkshopsGather in Powisset’s state-of-the-art farm kitchen and classroom for hands-on cooking classes with professional chef instructors and cookbook authors. Classes focus on local, regional, and international cuisine and offer opportunities to understand flavor profiles, new ingredients, special techniques, and the importance of farm-fresh food. We offer evening and daytime classes for adults and daytime classes for children. Classes are limited in size to guarantee a rewarding learning experience and good time for all. Each class concludes with the opportunity to share culinary creations together. Pre-registration is required for all classes.
Private Chef’s Table DinnersGather a small group of friends or family for a truly special, intimate evening of gorgeous food. Powisset’s Chef’s Table Dinners are designed to be interactive evenings with Chef Thi, who provides a custom four-course dinner filled with farm fresh ingredients. You’ll watch your food being prepared and dine with your guests in the Powisset kitchen/classroom. Children’s cooking classes and birthday parties provide ultimate fun on the farm. Led by a Powisset Cooks! instructor, junior chefs work together to make a special recipe, and usually have enough left over to bring home a sample to share. School Vacation Programs‘Kiddos In The Kitchen’ is Powisset Farm’s signature school vacation program for children ages 7-12. During February and April vacation weeks, children can spend mornings at Powisset learning to cook in the Powisset kitchen. Each day includes a visit to the farm animals and time to sample culinary creations together. Single day and full week programs are available.
