The Powisset Kitchen will be buzzing with excitement at this special guest chef cooking class!
Powisset’s master beekeeper, Pete Fryckman, is also an avid baker! In this hands-on class, Pete will show you how to incorporate honey into a variety of sweet and delectable treats. While baking, you’ll learn about the importance of using local honey, including the honey from Powisset Farm. On the menu: Honey Nut Babka and Honey Quickbread. Sweet!
Pete Fryckman is the 95th graduate of the Cornell University Master Beekeeper program, a member of the Eastern Apicultural Society, MASSBEE, and the Norfolk County Beekeepers Association; he is a favorite mentor to new beekeepers.

Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. Minimum of 6 people required for class to take place. Please Note: Powisset is NOT a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds and transfers will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
