About Celebrating Lunar New Year – Adult Cooking Class
Join us to complete our farm-grown, month-long culinary journey through Asia with a celebration of Lunar New Year!
Lunar New Year is observed in much of Asia and around the world, to mark the arrival of spring and the beginning of the new year. In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Thi, you will explore some Asian classics perfect for the occasion. You’ll learn to make Fried Pork and Shrimp Spring Rolls, Stir-Fried Longevity Noodles with Seasonal Vegetables, Fried Sticky Rice, and Roasted Five-Spice Chicken.
Included in this class:
- Cooking demonstration and hands-on learning experience.
- Instruction from an experienced, top-notch instructor.
- Recipes to take home.
- At the end of each class, the opportunity to enjoy the food you created.
This is an adults-only course. If you would like to bring an adult beverage to class, please feel free.
Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. Minimum of 6 people required for class to take place. Please Note: Powisset is NOT a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds and transfers will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
