Fun on the Farm

The Trustees has preserved more than 12,000 acres of active production farms, land leased to other farmers, and protected grassland habitat.

Helping these landscapes thrive is essential to honoring their cultural identity, and balancing productivity and ecological impact is crucial to ensuring a sustainable future. These are also beloved places, visited by tens of thousands each year, who come to see the animals, to enjoy culinary classes and other programs using our farm-grown ingredients, and to purchase CSA shares and goods from our farm stores.

We aim to make our farms accessible and interactive, deepen visitors’ understanding of regenerative and organic farming, and search for new ways to connect underserved communities and new generations with the wonders of seasonal, local food.
