About Annual Urban Agriculture Fair
Calling all urban farmers, gardeners, beekeepers, composters, fruit-tree enthusiasts, climate activists, and anyone interested in learning more about urban agriculture in Boston! An annual celebration of 50+ years of grassroots urban agriculture in Boston. Learn directly from local urban farmers and gardeners who are on the ground feeding our community, and helping us stay connected to the land.

Date & Time: Saturday, September 20th from 11am-3pm
Location: Roxbury Heritage State Park
Activities:
- Free food from Fresh Food Generation
- Local vendors and tablers
- Live agriculture and cooking demos
- Learning circles led by local urban farmers
- Youth leadership in urban agriculture
- Kids activities
- Bees, chickens, pigeons
- Games and prizes for all ages
- Harvest Competition with $100 grand prize
- Live music from Contagious – local Steel Drum Band
- Concluding with a Green New Dance Party
