
Grab your date and a plate of delicious German cuisine for a romantic Oktoberfest date night. Originating in Munich in the early nineteenth century, Oktoberfest is a traditional German festival featuring food, beer, and music. The festival was created to spread the Bavarian sense of gemütlichkeit—cordiality.
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Thi Bowles, you’ll make German Potato Salad with Bacon, Trustees Pork Schnitzel with a Mustard Cream Sauce & Braised Cabbage, and Apple Strudel for dessert.

Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. Minimum of 8 people required for class to take place. Please Note: Powisset is NOT a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds and transfers will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
