Join the Trustees’ Mobile Adventures at the Summer Evenings in the Park, a free festival series happening at different Fall River city parks every Wednesday night this summer! Find us at Pulaski Park for this week’s festival on Wednesday 7/30 for FREE nature play & learning!
Wednesday 7/30 from 5:30-8pm get ready to bug out with Mobile Adventures! This week, we’re exploring the tiny world of insects, worms, spiders, and everything in between. Whether they fly, crawl, slither, or squirm, we’re shining the spotlight on the tiny critters that keep our ecosystems buzzing!
Join us for a jam-packed day of bug ID, live worm and snail encounters, spider web weaving, and good old-fashioned bug hunts. Think you know what it takes to squirm like a worm? Prove it in our worm race going head to head with other kids, and get hands-on with magnifiers, specimen jars, and nature’s tiniest engineers.
Activities include:
• Bug Identification Station
• Worm Races
• Snail Observation Lab
• Spider Web Weaving Craft
• Bug Hunting Challenge
• …and more creepy-crawly fun!
From curious kiddos to budding entomologists, this insect adventure is perfect for all ages. Let’s explore the undergrowth and celebrate the many-legged (and no-legged!) wonders all around us!
