Join the Trustees’ Mobile Adventures at the Summer Evenings in the Park, a free festival series happening at different Fall River city parks every Wednesday night this summer! Find us at Griffin Park for this week’s festival on Wednesday 7/23 for FREE nature play & learning!
Wednesday 7/23 from 5:30-8pm grab your binoculars and bring your curiosity – because this week we’re Birding! From tiny chickadees to soaring hawks, we’ll explore the wild world of local birds through hands-on activities, games, and guided exploration.
Get up close with real feathers, skulls, and eggs, try your hand at bird call ID, and even build your own nest! Play like a woodpecker, flap through a migration race, and see how many birds you can spot during our mini birding adventure.
Activities include:
• Bird Exploration Station – Examining feathers, eggs, skulls and calls
• Nest Building Lab
• Birding with Binoculars
• Woodpecker Games
• Migration Relay Race
• …and more feathered fun!
Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just curious about the birds outside your window, this week is packed with sky-high discovery for all ages!
