About Tool Cleaning and Care Workshop

Learn the ins and outs of caring for your garden tools! Not only do well cared for tools extend their life span, but they can be sharper and stronger making it easier to dig, cut, or whatever task you need done!

The workshop is both maintenance and repair, and will focus on hand tools, not machines like mowers or string trimmers. The scope would be routine cleaning (lubricating and sharpening), restoration (cleaning off rust, resealing old wooden handles), and repair (replacing wooden handles).

Participants are welcome to bring their own tools to work on during the lesson, and watch a how to demo on replaceing tool handles.

Jardin la Amistad is located at 405 Dudley St in Roxbury.
