
Join us during the month of May in the Powisset Kitchen, where we’ll Plant-it-Forward all month long, with recipes that put what’s growing seasonally and here at the farm front and center!
In this hands-on class with our own Chef Thi, we’ll focus on legendary legumes, a family of foods including beans, peas, lentils, chickpeas, peanuts, and soybeans. You’ll work these versatile ingredients, along with items from our farm, into a variety of dishes, including French Lentil Salad with Spring Greens and Brown Butter Yogurt, Braised Gigante Beans and Cabbage with Crispy Tofu, and a Spring Herb Chickpea Salad Sandwich on Artisan Bread.

Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. Minimum of 6 people required for class to take place. Please Note: Powisset is NOT a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds and transfers will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
