Baker’s Pasture at Crane Beach is an alternative parking area being used to accommodate high demand for beach access and is open to all via advanced entry passes.
This is an exquisite stretch of beach that is a perfect place for those who don’t need the amenities of the bath house and retail options of the main beach. Here, you’ll enjoy one of the finest beaches and outdoor recreation destinations on the East Coast. With its clean, inviting water, miles of shoreline, and mesmerizing views, Crane Beach has been a favorite with the ocean-loving public for generations.
For the 2024 Summer Season, Bakers Pasture is open on weekends and holidays only from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Advanced entry passes are required. During the Summer Season, passes are released on Thursdays at noon for the upcoming weekend. Get your pass here.

Please be aware of the following:
- The Baker’s Pasture lot is open on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day-Labor Day from 9AM to 4PM. The last entry is at 3pm. All vehicles must exit by 4pm, gates are promptly locked at that time.
- Advanced passes to Bakers Pasture do not provide parking or access to Castle Hill or the main beach lot.
- There is no bike or walk-in access at Bakers Pasture. All bike and foot traffic must enter through the main beach lot.
- Portable toilets are available.
- There is no access to the beach store or bath house except via a 0.5 mile beachfront walk.
- Exit and re-entry on the same day is not permitted.
- Advanced passes are required and will not be sold onsite.
- One pass per vehicle provides entry for all passengers arriving in one vehicle.
- Baker’s Pasture is not handicap accessible. Accessible spaces are available in the Crane Beach main lot.
- Lifeguards are on duty from 9am-4pm on weekends only.
