About Guided Wildflower Walks

Join our veteran wildflower guides for a guided tour of the Ledges Trail. Learn all about the different flowers that are blooming, the insects that pollinate them and what makes them so unique. Spring wildflowers are extremely unique and have extremely short bloom times. Because of this, flowers that will be blooming at the beginning of the festival may not be in bloom by the end, and visitor’s are encouraged to visit the Cobble multiple times to see as much as possible.

The trail is a half mile loop, although not strenuous it does feature a few steep staircases and hills and is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. This walk is not recommended for young children. Please wear appropriate hiking gear and bring water. This is a great opportunity for photographing the flowers or taking notes.

Severe weather/rain will cancel the event with the opportunity for a refund or reschedule to another date. Participants will be notified via email in case of cancellation.

The spring ephemerals won’t be out for long – don’t miss them!
