About Stone Walls and Hidden Foundations Guided Walk

Discover the hidden foundations and 17 miles of stone walls that uncover the 300+ year history of Ward Reservation with Stewardship Manager Adam Rollfs. On this tour, participants will explore these walls that have run deep in the woods to keep livestock contained, separated fields and served as boundaries between farms while also uncovering fieldstone foundations once supported sawmills that were used to mill trees which grew on abandoned agricultural land.

Although we love our furry friends, dogs are not permitted during guided walks. Parking instructions will be sent to registered participants before the event. Guided walk is free and open to the public.
