About Bird Walk through Whitney and Thayer Woods

Join the Trustees for a beginner Bird Walk through Whitney and Thayer Woods! Our guide will introduce you to the fundamentals of birding while leading you through parts of this 834-acre forest. This hike is geared towards beginners but all are welcome!

This will be an easy to moderate walk along dirt trails with slight inclines in some areas. The path taken will be determined based on where the most birds can be found at the time of the walk. Possible routes include trails that through parts of the interconnected Weir River Farm, Whitney and Thayer Woods, and Turkey Hill locations.

Pre-registration is required for this event.

In the event of particularly inclement weather, this program may be rescheduled or cancelled. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

We love our furry friends, however, dogs are not permitted in programs.
