About Pick Your Own Sunflowers

Come tour the Farm Institute’s one-acre sunflower field! Pick-your-own sunflowers are available now through mid-August. Each family admission includes up to five guests and a total of a dozen sunflower stems per group. Additional sunflowers are available for purchase on site, $2/stem. Pre-registration encouraged as buckets & clippers are limited.

While here on the farm, tour the barns and gardens and say hi to our goats, sheep, pigs, & chickens!

Sign up for a half-hour time slot on Mon-Friday from 10-4 or Saturday from 10-Noon. Rubber bands will be provided, but please bring your own jar/vase to put your flowers in to take home. We have small mason jars for sale in our shop if you’d like to purchase one.

If you’d like to pick sunflowers at another time, please e-mail lbrown@thetrustees.org to coordinate.

This is a weather-dependent program and will not run in inclement weather. You will be notified by e-mail if this program will not run.

Program Refunds/Cancellations: In the event that a program is cancelled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact lbrown@thetrustees.org at least 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund or transfer to another date/class. Refunds and/or class transfers will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. There are no refunds for missed classes.
