Celebrate Juneteenth at the Winthrop Community Garden!

Hear from local speakers on the important role of Black History in the Boston Community Gardens, including Mel King’s important legacy in passing the Massachusetts Garden and Farm Act in 1974. Enjoy live music and food, and explore the recently renovated Winthrop Community Garden, including a new art installation honoring the Black Panther Party.

Free and open to all. This is a family-friendly event.
