About Guided Wildflower Walk at Field Farm

Join naturalists Pamela Weatherbee (daughter of Lawrence and Eleanor Bloedel, the original owners of Field Farm) and Leslie Reed-Evans for a Spring wildflower walk. Field Farm has some unusual habitats that produce an interesting and beautiful array of woodland wildflowers known as Spring ephemerals, which have a very short time to grow, bloom, and set seed before the leaves come out and restrict the sunlight reaching the forest floor. On this two-hour easy walking tour, Pam will introduce you to the fascinating flora of these rich woods.

Meet at the trail head kiosk in the parking lot by The Folly Building. Join us at The Guest House following the walk for tea and cookies.
