About Hike with Goats at Powisset Farm

Take a leisurely hike along Powisset Farm’s beautiful grounds and trails, accompanied by one or more of our friendly goats!

Goats are naturally playful and curious creatures. They love to follow the leader and stick together, which makes them perfect hiking companions! Hiking with goats is a fun and unique way to spend some time in nature and make some cuddly goat friends at the same time.

A Powisset “goat guide” will accompany you to share background on the goats, help you put a leash on your goat (or goats) and navigate your walk. Please note this program is weather dependent. For the health and welfare of our goat companions, hikes will not run in rain or extreme heat (above 90 degrees).

A group ticket is for up to four people. For groups larger than four, please email us at powissetfarm@thetrustees.org. Children under 4 do not count as part of your group of four. Pre-registration is required.

You will walk through grass and/or woods, so be sure to protect yourself from ticks and mosquitos. We suggest you also bring drinking water, a hat, and sunscreen.

Although we love our four legged friends, dogs are not allowed at Powisset Farm.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.

Register
