About Family Walk and Learn: Meet the Pollinators

One of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on them – our flying friends, the pollinators!

Visit Chestnut Hill Farm’s meadows, fields, and forest, where we will walk with Ranger Bob and investigate the life cycle of our secret gardening partners. The pollination work of butterflies, beetles, bats, bees, hummingbirds, and flies ensures the continued presence of thousands of plant species, and in turn, many animal species, including humans.

At the end of our walk, we’ll celebrate our pollinator friends with a cup of lemonade and cookies.

About your program leader:
Your guide will be Trustees Ranger Bob, a naturalist, local scoutmaster, and friendly guide devoted to sharing the wonders of the outdoors.

Please note, although we love our four-legged friends, dogs are not allowed at Chestnut Hill Farm.
