About Cancelled – Nature Play Urbana: Mattapan Public Library

Curated for Preschool aged children, Nature Play Urbana will offer some nature theme exploration with the partnership of the East Boston Library this Winter and Spring. We will offer children a safe space to learn about the seasons, and their local surroundings with storytelling, a sensory activity craft, and a nature hunt right outside the classroom. Nature Play Urbana’s goal is to instill curiosity and a love for nature in this imaginative age. Each session we will uncover a new nature theme related to the current season. This course will be offered bilingually (English & Spanish). The entire family is welcomed to come regardless of age. Come explore!

Diseñado para niños en edad preescolar, Nature Play Urbana ofrecerá una exploración temática de la naturaleza con la asociación de la Biblioteca de East Boston este invierno y primavera. Ofreceremos a los niños un espacio seguro para aprender sobre las estaciones y su entorno local con narraciones de cuentos, una actividad sensorial y una búsqueda de la naturaleza justo afuera del aula. El objetivo de Nature Play Urbana es inculcar la curiosidad y el amor por la naturaleza en esta era imaginativa. En cada sesión descubriremos un nuevo tema de naturaleza relacionado con la temporada actual. Este curso se ofrecerá de forma bilingüe (inglés y español).
