Spring has sprung! It is an excellent time of year for exploring and learning on the farm. We will be planting and harvesting in our garden, taking care of our animals and finding all the signs of spring that nature divulges. Join us on Wednesday mornings from 9:30AM to 12:30PM for a preschool drop-off series to educate your preschooler on farm animals, life cycles, plant parts, and farm fun!
After an opening circle, song, and morning observations, we’ll learn about the plants and animals that call the farm home and participate in daily barn and garden chores. We will also explore the woods and the wild animals while learning how interact with nature, rather than impose upon it. We pause for lunch at 11:30 before finishing our day with farm crafts, games, songs, and stories — and say goodbye until next week!
Fiddleheads offers early nature-based education and helps to cultivate an appreciation for the world around us. This series offers preschool-aged students the opportunity to participate in environmentally focused, farm-based activities that foster social, emotional, and academic growth and development.
