About Fall Foliage Bike and Sip

Bring your bicycle and join us for a cycling adventure! This excursion will take us through beautiful Whitney and Thayer Woods and Wompatuck State Park, where we’ll be immersed in the numerous colors of changing leaves as we cycle under the tree canopies. After, we’ll head over to Weir River Farm for a snack and adult beverages. While we’re enjoying a break, we’ll take in the stunning and expansive views of fall foliage stretching from the Weir River Farm property all the way to the Boston skyline, Hingham Harbor, and World’s End. This is a trip not to be missed!

The loop we will take is approximately 10 miles and will take about an hour and a half. The first three miles is finely crushed gravel, and the rest of the trail is paved flat road. This trip is appropriate for a hybrid or road bike. This is an easy to moderate bike ride. At 10-12mph, we will be cycling at a comfortable and enjoyable pace.

We will meet at the entrance to the Cohasset Commuter Rail Station. This convenient location just across the street to the bike path, allows easy transportation for those interested in traveling from Boston on the T, and has plenty of parking availalbe for those traveling by car. We will end the trip where we started, at the entrance to the station, and then head over to Weir River Farm for lunch. Participants can drive or bike to Weir River Farm from the station. The Cohasset Commuter Rail is located just 1.5 miles away from Weir River Farm via the Whitney Spur Rail Trail.

Participants are responsible for brining their own bicycle, helmet, snack, and water. Wine and beer will be provided. Participants MUST wear a helmet during this program.

Pre-registration is required for this event. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

We love our furry friends, however, as this is a working farm, dogs are not permitted on the Weir River Farm property.
