About Winter Solstice Sunset Hike at World's End

Join us at World’s End for a sunset hike in celebration of the Winter Solstice. You’ll be invited to stop by the Wakeman O’Donnell Center for a cup of hot chocolate prior to the hike up to Planter’s Hill, where we will say goodbye to the shortest of days and longest of nights. As we recognize this change in seasons, this turning point in the year, we’ll take in the spectacular views of the setting sun and Boston skyline. We’ll take a quiet mindful moment to reflect on the season and set intentions for the brighter days ahead.

This is an easy-to-moderate hike on wide carriage paths with some uphill sections. Please meet at 3:30PM at the Wakeman O’Donnell Center, near the parking lot. The hike will begin at 3:50PM. Remember to dress for the weather.
