Winter Wildlife Tracking Hike at Chestnut Hill Far...

Winter Tracking

About Winter Wildlife Tracking Hike at Chestnut Hill Farm

Even when there isn’t snow on the ground, the winter is a great time to track animals! Not all “animal tracks” are simple pawprints. By reading the forest around us we can take a glimpse into the wild world of what it takes for woodland creatures to survive a hard winter. Plan to be especially observant as you walk the trails at Chestnut Hill Farm on this family-friendly guided hike.

Your guide will be Tim Puopolo, a Trustees ranger and naturalist, and recipient of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation’s “Outstanding Park Interpreter” award.

Please note, though we love dogs, they are not permitted at Chestnut Hill Farm.
