About Boo in the Barnyard at Weir River Farm

It’s Halloween at Weir River Farm! Wear your costume and meet Nutmeg the pony, Ruby the llama, Poppy the goat, and Dixie the potbellied pig, as well as our sheep and herd of black and white belted Galloway cattle. Take part in a festive scavenger hunt, create a seasonal craft, and enjoy a sweet treat. Take some time to read an autumn-themed StoryWalk™ along the grassy “chute” on your way to the barnyard. After your visit to the Barnyard, hike the woodland trails surrounding Weir River Farm to explore and experience all the beauty of Weir River Farm in the fall!

Pre-registration is required for this event. Hourly time slots are available 11AM-4PM. Infants in carriers are free.

From 10-11AM we will be running a Sensory-Friendly Boo in the Barnyard Hour. This hour will offer decreased participant capacity, reduced noise, and other accommodations for anyone who might benefit from a sensory-friendly environment. This program will meet in the barnyard. Parking is available in the lot located across from the Studio at 140 Turkey Hill Lane. To reach the barn and barnyard, enter the “chute” directly across from the lot and follow it down to the barnyard.

This program is rain or shine! In the event of cancellation, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

We love our furry friends, however, as this is a working farm with animals, dogs are not permitted on the property.
