About Autumn Equinox Forest Bathing

The Autumn Equinox is a day of balance. Day and night are of equal lengths. Find balance within yourself as we usher in the colder, darker half of the year.

Forest bathing, or shirin-yoku, is an opportunity to deepen our relationship with nature and oneself. Using present moment awareness, deep breathing and conscious movement, our Mindful Outdoor Guide will invite participants to awaken their senses and receive the healing power of the forest. We will walk slowly and mindfully, using our senses to see, hear, smell and feel our surroundings. By becoming present and centered in the moment we turn down the cacophony of inner thoughts and allow the forest to support our natural ability to heal and be well.

Your forest bathing leader will be Jeff Hyman, a longtime member of the Trustees community, certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide and experienced naturalist.

This is an adults-only program.

Please note, though we love dogs, they are not permitted at Chestnut Hill Farm.
