Join us for a fun, free workshop on growing and using medicinal herbs. We’ll tour the lovely Joe Ciampa Community Garden and discuss the healing properties of common garden herbs, including ones suitable for container gardening. We’ll also cover a few less common – but easy to grow – medicinal herbs, and how to prepare teas and tinctures. Enjoy some iced herbal teas and bring your questions!
If you’re able, please consider supporting our free garden programming through the optional program fee when you register.
Joe Ciampa Community Garden is located at 124 Marginal Street in East Boston. Street parking is free but can be hard to find. Other great ways to get there are walking, biking and the Blue Line (Maverick Station is a 7 minute walk away).
The gates and pathways are wheelchair accessible. For questions on accessibility or anything else, please contact Michelle at mdelima@thetrustees.org. Please check your email before coming in case there are weather or other updates.
