About Natural History Tour of Coska-Coatue

Join our expert guides on this over-sand vehicle beach tour and learn about the fascinating flora and fauna at Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Refuge. Experience beautiful and unique habitats including salt marshes, the barrier beach system, and the ocean. These habitats are home to a variety of bird species— including ospreys, northern harriers, American oystercatchers, piping plovers, and terns. And keep an eye out for seals! Tours last approximately 2 hours, but the memories will last a lifetime.

Currently we have afternoon tours available departing the gatehouse afternoons at 1:00 PM Monday and Saturday and morning tours departing the gatehouse at 9:00 AM Wednesday and Thursday through the month of May.

Tickets $75 per person.

(Transportation to the gatehouse is the responsibility of the group)

Cancellation Policy

Up to 24 hours in advance of scheduled tour departure: 50% Cancellation Fee applies. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance of scheduled tour departure time and noshows cannot be refunded.
