About Pollinator Gardening Workshop

Make your garden part of the ecosystem! Come learn about native plants that will support native bees and butterflies and thrive in urban gardens with longtime native plant landscaper and community gardener Asa Runefelt. We’ll cover good options for sunny, shady, wet, and dry areas, discuss how to plan and maintain your garden to provide pollinator support all season long, and check out some examples at the Berkeley Community Garden.

Berkeley Community Garden is located in the South End on East Berkeley Street between Tremont and Shawmut. Enter through the gate at 500 Tremont Street. The garden is accessible via the Orange Line and buses. You can usually find some metered street parking in the neighborhood if you take some time to look!

Please consider supporting this workshop through the optional program fee if you are able. Reach out to mdelima@thetrustees.org with questions.
