About Make a Bird Feeder

Prepare to get messy while you make a snack for the birds! As winter ends and spring approaches, the birds in our area can have a hard time finding food. Let’s help them through this transition and invite them to our yards for a treat! We’ll mix suet and/or vegetable shortening, bird seed, and leftover oats and bread to make a hanging bird feeder that you can take home. The birds will thank you!

There is limited street parking at Nightingale Community Garden, as well as a parking lot across the street. The garden is also accessable by the Washington St @ Park St bus stop, and the Shawmut Red Line stop.
