About Private Fire Pits at Fruitlands Museum

Get outdoors with family and friends and warm up with private Fire Pit bookings at Fruitlands Museum.

Daytime Fire Pits can be reserved by the hour. We will provide the fire, wood, and seating. Bring your own blanket and gather with family and friends. We recommend booking in advance to secure your spot.

Member $30, Nonmember $50 per hour for up to six guests. Fire Pit bookings include admission to the Fruitlands Museum Grounds and Art Gallery for your group and we welcome you to arrive early or stay after your fire pit slot to explore the grounds and exhibitions. Winter hours are 11am-4pm.

Daytime Fire Pit Rentals are available as part of Winter Season weekend hours at Fruitlands Museum. We welcome you to arrive early or stay after for gallery visits, hiking, or when weather permits, snowshoeing or cross country skiing during your visit.

New this year! The Hyve at the Fruitlands Cafe will be open from 11am-3:30pm offering warm beverages, baked goods, sandwich of the week, soup of the week, and salad of the week. Enjoy farm fresh food by the fireside by ordering inside at the café counter. Please, no outside food or drink in the fire pit and café area. Please note, President’s Day weekend, February 18-20, The Hyve at the Fruitlands Cafe will be closed. The Museum will have hot cocoa and s’mores kits available onsite for guests. On these select dates, fire pit guests are also invited to bring outside food.
