Join us at World’s End for a sunset hike in celebration of the Winter Solstice. You’ll be invited to hike up to Planter’s Hill where we will say goodbye to the shortest of days and longest of nights, and then warm up at the Wakeman O’Donnell Center with a cup of hot chocolate. As we recognize this change in seasons, this turning point in the year, we’ll take in the spectacular views of the setting sun and Boston skyline. We’ll take a quiet mindful moment to reflect on the season and set intentions for the brighter days ahead.
This is an easy-to-moderate hike on wide carriage paths with some uphill sections. Please meet at 3:50PM at the Wakeman O’Donnell Center, near the parking lot. The hike will begin at 4:00PM. Remember to dress for the weather.
Pre-registration is required for this event. Parking is included with your registration.
