The winter solstice inspires mystical celebrations, both old and new, in anticipation of the sun’s return. You might be more familiar with the winter solstice as the day with the shortest amount of sunlight and the longest night of the year. But, around the world, many cultures still celebrate the longest night of the year with unique winter solstice traditions.
Join us for a new tradition this year and take a soothing hike beneath the sunrise at Eastover Reservation. After the guided walk, there will be an optional “free paint” of the morning colors with canvases, paint, and paint brushes provided. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket.Register
